im in my 8 week and spoting blood is my baby died?

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

No, your baby is not dead. Spotting in the first trimester is not unusual. You probably have what is called a sub-chorionic bleed. They are common.

You should call your doctor as soon as possible if you have not done so already, The doctor will probably want you to come in for an ultrasound to check and see if everything is OK. You will probably be told to take it easy, avoid sex, no heavy lifting, no heavy exercise, etc and drink plenty of fluids. I know it is scary, this happened to me with two of my pregnancies. Somehow the bleed just goes away after a while.
