Multiple Cesarean Sections: Risks, Safety & Future Pregnancies
Questionaged 31 i have 5 children. all born by section no medical reason for this other than my first child was breech the others because i had already had a section.
my question is how many sections is it safe for you to have, my last section was great although it took a good 2 mths for my scar to heal.
i have resently remarried and my husband and i would like a child together.
AnswerWith each cesarean section operation, the bladder must be tacked up higher and higher. This can present difficulty in entering the pelvis in order to gain access to the uterus. In addition, you may have developed many adhesions with each surgical procedure that can impede the surgery. Finally, the wakest point of the uterus is at the site of the previous Cesarean incision. Sometimes, this can cause problems. I would advise you to consult with your obstetrician and make sure that you have the last operative report (of your last cesarean) to help your doctor come to a decision.
