Third Cesarean Section: Risks, Adhesions & Pregnancy Concerns
QuestionI have had 2 previous caesarean sections and we are looking to have a third and final child - via caesarean section. I have found my operation report from my second C.S which states I had dense omental adhesions, paper thin lower segment and bladder adhesions.
Do any of these things rule out having a third child? What additional risks to pregnancy / surgery do these things pose?

It will be a difficult Cesarean section. The main complication will be placenta accreta |abnormal placentation" which may lead to hysterectomy at the time of the Cesarean. Others include uterine rupture and that is why your doctor will deliver you 2-3 weeks earlier than the expected time. Postpartume hemorrhage also is a possibility.
The good is that the outcome is usually good (not always) with an experienced obstetrician even if hysterectomy is performed.
Good Luck
