Mucus Plug Discharge at 13 Weeks: What to Do?

Hi i am a 41 yr old that has had two previous miscarriages at the 6 week mark and i have a 10 yr old daughter. I am 13 weeks pregnant and have had 3 ultrasounds at the 6, 9 and 12 week mark and they all looked promising. But yesterday i had a yellow tinged jelly type discharge and again today a glob of it as well. I am worried this is the mucus plug and henceforth will soon experience a miscarriage. Can you shed any light?

Throughout your pregnancy, you will have mucus discharge (jelly like). This is not the release of the mucus plug. As long as the baby has a good heartbeat and is adequately growing, you need not worry (unless you notice fluid leaking from your vagina).
