Post-Menopause and Pregnancy: Can a 55-Year-Old Woman Get Pregnant?

My wife is 55 years old and stopped using 'tampons' over 5 years ago.
Q: Can we have normal sex but is she prevented from getting pregnant due to her no longer menstrating?

It is most likely that your wife is menopausal.  That can be checked by a simple blood test.  If she is menopausal, she can no longer become pregnant.
