Lower Right Abdomen/Groin Discomfort: Seeking Medical Advice

Question
Hello Dr, I am a white 41 yr old male. 5'11"/240 lbs. I take bp med(Lisinopril HCTZ) and cholesterol med(Lipitor). Last Saturday morning, I awoke to a very slight feeling of discomfort in my lower right abdomen/groin area. It felt like a nagging feeling centralized in the middle somewhere between my right groin and upper right buttocks. After two days of this, I became worried some event happened, reading the internet doesn't help. I spoke with my physician/internist and we both agreed since it was very minor, to wait and see if things change, get worse etc. It is nearly a week later and the feeling is still there, yet it is barely noticable at times. I'm not sure if it comes and goes, it's difficult to tell. Most often I feel a vague area of very slight discomfort down in that area. I even thought I felt something like this on the left side once, but I don't know for sure. My sexual function is normal. I think that there is a very tiny feeling of relief when I empty my bladder. But I do pee alot from the meds and that just may be me misunderstanding normal circumstances. Today it is noticably there, but barely. I'm not sure if it has just remained the same and I have learned to ignore it or if it is indeed less than before. It certainly isn't anything I feel the need to run to the Dr/hospital for. It's more thought provoking than anything, annoying at times. What do you think this could be? With so much info available online, I start fearing Appendicitis, Prostatitis, bladder infections/UTI etc, the list goes on. Can you just give me your opinion on what it is most likely to be or what is more prevalent. Again, I want to stress it is a very slight and vague feeling of discomfort to the right of my groin, in the middle and in from the back right buttocks. An area in and around there, maybe even a few inches down my right leg. Thanks for your thoughts Dr, it will help ease my mind hearing something logical/likely. Merry Christmas.

Answer
that list you had is reasonable, but it seems to be smoldering along..... I doubt appendicitis as usually it gets worse, but it is time to get it looked at after Christmas if it persists.... getting a blood count and urine and an exam...... it could be muscle, but get it looked at if it gets worse or doesn't resolve.
