Question

Answer
Hi Claire :)

Very unlikely that you are suffering from and etopic pregnancy. Your tubes are cut and clamped, and perhaps cauterized. This completely prevents the egg, to meet sperm for conception to occur. So its extremely rare.

However, perhaps you have an ovarian cyst. Again, these can be extremely painful as well. Especially during the time of ovulation. You still ovulate, but your egg cannot pass through your tubes anymore, so it just dissolves.

If you find that your are getting these pains around ovulation time, or around your period then thats a pretty good indicator. Again, most times they are not serious, and they are a common problem these days. The doctor can either surgically remove it, or, give you the pill in attempt to shrink it.

Hope this is of some help, and thanks for writing :)
