Post-Abortion Period Delay: What to Expect & When to Worry

I had my abortion on 1/28/09 but I still have not had my period.  I know it takes awhile, 4-6 weeks, after for it to start again and my first abortion 2/2008 my period started again like normal.  I was given the depo shot the day of the abortion so I wouldn't think I was pregnant.  About a week ago I had a brownish discharge that I thought was the start of my period so I used a tampon but when I changed it that evening it was almost clean and I haven't spotted since.  Is it possible that I'm pregnant?

Abortion seriously disrupts a woman's delicate hormonal balance, so anything is possible. Because of the depo shot, I wouldn't suspect pregnancy, but it's also possible that the depo shot has suppressed your periods. I recommend you go to a doctor and let him check you out and test your hormones. Please be aware that nobody can tell you over the internet what is going on with your body, not even a doctor.
