Cytotec vs. Methergine for Abortion: Safety & Considerations

hi i am from the Philippines. my girlfriend is pregnant. her last normal menstruation was last june 7 and ended june 11(5 days). last july 15, she underwent an ultrasound and is said to be positive in having a baby.she also took a preg test twice that early morning and found it also as positive. she did not had any spotting last june as far as she could remember.she took one .125 mcg of Methergine today and is suggested by a friend to take it for 5 days and she will bleed and take bethaki(don't know the spelling) to control the bleeding. is it safe? please please do help us. thank you. hoping for your urgent response.

This is a very dangerous thing to be doing without doctor supervision. I would not advise her to take any more of this medication. There have been recent reports of women having severe and long-term bleeding when taking the abortion pills. No, I can't say that this would be safe at all.
