Breast Discharge, Pain & Changes: What Could It Mean?
QuestionRecently I have noticed a whiteish/clear discharge from my left breast. As far as I know it only appears when the breast is stimulated, but I haven't been looking for it either. In addition my nipples are very sore and when I did a self examination I felt like my brests were very firm and the tissue was a little clumpy. Finally, I have noticed my veins are more visible then usuall in my breasts. I am only twenty six so the likely hood this is anything to worry about is slim, but should I go to a doctor?
AnswerDear Ellie, YES, you MUST see a doctor... You are NOT to young to get breast cancer and you need a doctor to examine your breasts and maybe even do an ultrasound if he/she finds or thinks anything is abnormal... This could be just about anything and even hormone inbalance or problems with the pituitary gland can cause this... You need to see your doctor and get a proper diagnosis and exam....
