MT Pill Safety After 8 Weeks: What You Need to Know

Dear Doctor,
I am 26 years old and had been pregnant for 8 weeks upon consultation with the doctor for termination; the doctor gave me MTPILL to take 3 orally for the other different medicine dose to take vaginally (if not starting the bleeding). After 8 week MTPILL is safe or I need to do the scanning after the Medicine or I want to take any other precaution for abortion.

Just so you know, I am not a doctor. But I have studied this for many years.

The MTpill will only work up to 49 days. That's seven weeks, maximum. And the closer to 49 days a woman gets, the less likely it is to work. If it doesn't work, they have to do a surgical abortion anyway. There is no point in even trying it at eight weeks.

Whatever you do, do NOT take the dose vaginally! It is VERY dangerous. It can cause toxic shock syndrome, which could kill you within hours.

This doctor sounds like he doesn't care about your health and safety. PLEASE find someone else.
