Maintaining Gel French Tips: Painting Between Fills

Hi! I just stumbled across this website and am very excited to have found you. I had gel nails with french look applied over my long natural nails over a month ago, I love them! I won't be able to go back for a fill for another 3 weeks (and I need it)! I would like to hide the french tip grow out. Is it ok to paint the nails until I can get in for a fill? Thank you!

You can paint your nails to your desire without any fear. The only thing you must be carefull is how you remove it. If you had tips applied (i'm gessing no as you said you only had gel applied over your natural nails), then acetone can melt the tips. So if you have tips you can't use acetone.
Most gels don't dissolve in acetone, but some do, so i think it is probably better to stay on the safe side and use non-acetone polish remover and you'll be OK.
