Gel UV Nails: Are They Damaging to Your Natural Nails?

Hello Sylvia: did some research after I got the nails put on, got talked into it, of course.  My main concern is will it damage my nails; I know I cannot get a fungal infection because I had that many years ago when I got acrylic nails with the power/solution that stunk up the whole place; swear I would never do it again nor get any kind of nail enhancement procedure done; I gave in since this seems to be safe and long-lasting.  Thanks a lot for your help! Hi Patricia,

Damage to your nails will only occur with bad prep work an inferior product ( Chinese for example)or bad filing when having a refill or removing them.

Make sure you use a well known brand : EzFlow IBD or SuperNail and you go to a certified salon which has their certificates from one of these brands.
