Safe Acrylic Nail Removal: Best Practices & Avoiding Damage

Question
I just got my nails done for the first time--and though I feel like she didn't do a great job on them I'm going to stick it out for a few weeks.
However when I go back to work I'll need to remove them and I was wondering the best way to do it since all I'm hearing is horror stories about the after affects of acrylics.
Thanks!

Answer
The best way to remove your enhancements is always to go back to were you did them and ask for a removal. Of course, nail technicians always feel a little disheartend to loose a client, because they feel they might not liked her work, but just explain that your work is not compatible with them.
