QuestionI normally get the pink and white (french) gel at my salon, but it's getting a little boring. If I wanted to just get a color, then I would have to do regular acrylic without the gel and the uv light. Is that correct? BUT.....would I be able to get pink and white gels when I go back in 2 weeks. I have been told that once you switch, if you want to go back, you have to start all over again, but I'm not sure if that's true. Thanks!
AnswerIf you want to change a bit and get some color there are several options for you, you can either use polish over your regular enhancements, that you can remove at any time you wish, or you can select a colored gel or colored acrylic, that you can only change once you visit your nail tech.
If you get colored acrylic or gel, you might have to remove most of the product to go back to pink and white, but it's not much different from a regular maintenance.
Colored acrylic tends to be a bit more versatile, because it has more colors and there are some lovely designs you can achive with it, colored gel is more used as pemanent polish.
