QuestionWhat is the process for filling pink and white? So they have to be removed every time?
AnswerFirst off lets throw out the term fill.
It refers to only "filling in" the new growth, with no attention paid to replacing the strength in the stress area of the enhancement, and debulking around it for overall toughness.
Secondly, if you have a tech replacing your pink and white enhancements repeatedly, find a new tech.
This is completely unnecessary, and a good tech with master training will skip it altogether.
The pink and white enhancements I apply are rebalanced every 2-3 weeks, which is re-applying the white smile line at the free edge, and replacing the stress area.
I hand file about 75-90% of the enhancement off, then re-apply new liquid and powder or UV Gel, whatever the clients preference.
I do not leave red file marks (AKA Rings of fire), or fill lines, and my enhancements do not yellow, look thick, or otherwise age.
I also do a full prep of the nail before a rebalance, removing all dead tissue around the cuticle and sidewalls, so that there is no lifting either.
