To my knowledge, I do not think that the "Creative" brand of products known as 'Solar Nails" will cause an adverse reaction UNLESS wrongly/incorrectly used by the technician.
HOWEVER, there are what are known as "NSS" which are Non Standard Salons who have unhygienic and often times, unethical practices.
Many NSS claim to offer "solar nails" when they don't use the Creative brand of product at all, and use a cheaper and toxic version. Also, their method of application leaves MUCH to be desired, putting clients at risk for all sorts of problems.
NSS are often (but not always) cheap discount nail bars.
I urge you to see this page on my website. If you feel that you have indeed visited an NSS and/or that your neice was exposed to MMA (a toxic and ILLEGAL product), then please file reports/press charges with the local authorities and appropriate offices.
