QUESTION: Thanks for your kind attention. I am 28 years old, staying at home and doing all the home jobs like washing dishes, cooking washing clothes, cleaning the entire house etc.... entire responsibilty of home is on me only. I apply nail varnish once a week or 15 days. and remove it on next day or when its partially removed. I dont use base coat. I use Maybelline and Revlon Nail varnish and use equate strengthening Nail polish remover. Once in a month I do manicure as well.
Looking forward for your kind reponse.

Answer
Hi Kirandeep

I think that your nails need a daily application of a good nail oil, like Solar Oil from CND.
You can buy this from some salons or look online.

Hand creme is too heavy to be absorbed into the nail plate.
Specific oils made especially to be absorbed by the nail, will penetrate deep into the layers of the nail and keep it supple, not brittle.

Also, always use a base coat. Look for one that is conditioning, NOT hardening. This will make your nails even more brittle.

Good luck

Liza
