Pink & White Nail Polish: Achieving a Soft, Natural Look

hi - just got pink & whites and really don't like the harshness of the white. want a softer look. if,over the next couple visits, i just get pink fills and the whites get trimmed off as my nails grow,will i my own nail show through softly/for a more natural look? thanks

It should. It depends on the color they used for the pink. Most products are at least slightly transparent, some are very transparent, and will allow the color of your natural white to show through. Ask if they have clear acrylic, that way once you've had enough fills to have all clear over your nail, it will look very much like your natural nail. Also, you could ask if they have a softer white acrylic for the tips.
