good morning i am currently in the process of being trained as a nail technician and one of the assignments i have is to find out if you can do manicure or pedicure on people with certain nail diseases and i am having trouble finding a sit to help with this information

In a very high percentage you will run into toes with nail diseases. You can do pedicure if the damage is not that extended (remembering to sterilize EXTREMELY well your equipment after that and wearing gloves - what you ought to do all the time- and face musk). There are cases where pedicure is out of question but this is something only a doctor can tell and highly experienced techs. You can attend seminars and get information from the net and books but your first sentence has to be "please visit a dermatologist before our next appointment". It is better to have less clients but responsible and healthy - or at least on medication and treatment - than being irresponsible yourself.
