Detached Toenail: What To Do & What To Expect

Hello, I had an injury to my big toenail and now I see it has detached from the nailbed and is hanging on by a corner and part of the cuticle.  Should I pull it off or let it stay? Will a new nail come in alright?
Underneath the nail it is dry, no pain.

Yes i would cut it down so you dont catch it on anything.  Yes a new one will grow out fine, you couls always call in and have a toenail extension put on so it doesnt look unsightly while your new nail grows out underneath.  Check to see if your local nail salon offers this service.
