QUESTION: hi keeley, in response to your question i am in devon.

Answer
hi nikki, ok thanku for that.  Essential nails is a home study course so it will be difficult for you to ask questions etc, my advice would be to do a course with a good large nail company.  Search the internet, look at courses by CREATIVE and SUPERNAIL, i can hunt their numbers down if you need them, they usually have tutors in all areas, i am based in Oxfordshire and i run courses to, but depends on how far you willing to travel. i suggest attending a course somewhere and then further on once u have done the basics then you can do home courses but you would find it very hard not having a live tutor to hand. As far as preferred method, it depends really what is being offerred mostly in your area, do some research, pick up pricelists from yr local salons, if they are all offerring gel, then u should offer fibreglass?  In my 15 years in the trade i have found fibreglass to be the most natural, least likely to get fungal infections, easy to remove and least damaging.  I hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact me for further enquiries.
