French Acrylic Nails: Application & Refills - Expert Advice

Question
Hi,i have a client who has frech tips the nail tech put her white on with a drill would this be acrylic or just paint? I have place my white acrylic on tip then pink in middle should i have french painted or just clear base and top coat. Then what should i do for a refill just the pink and then french paint or clear? Please remind me thankyou.

Answer
Hi Sharon,

It sounds like your client's previous tech used an electric file to "trench" the existing product to create the new white smile/tip.  She would have filled that trench with white acrylic.

If you're rebalancing this set, you would just debulk all the old product (file it down about 75%) and then add your fresh product on top as if you were creating a new overlay (which you ARE doing, basically. *g*)  In my opinion, using your white and pink acrylic powders (instead of just polishing) gives the nicest looking enhancement.  Definitely continue to do a full, pink and white rebalance for the prettiest look.

I hope this helps!  Feel free to follow up if you have any more questions!
