QuestionI just read the post below on a search. I have a wedding ring set just like this that I found in a "give-away" bag. It is white gold and has "FDC" and also maybe "QQ". Would you know anything more about this? The "diamond" is a large oval, pointed on two ends (can't recall the name for that shape!)

Question
I have a ring (14k) white in color and inside the band are the stamped initials EDC or FDC
What do they mean? They are then followed by 14K.
Answer
Hello Kathy and thank you for your inquiry. I know of no metal designation with these initials. They may be the initials of the manufacturer, although I could not find any with those initials in my resources. The initials could also be the previous owners inscription.
Hope this helps and sorry I couldn't help you further.

AnswerHello Debi and thank you for your inquiry. Other than my answer to the previous inquirer, I have not been able to find much except that there was a diamond company that used FDC on some of their items. The information site is listed below. Just copy and paste this into your browser address field and hit enter. The shape you are describing is, I believe, called a navette. Hope this helps !
