Questionhi lynette its tonya
my client doesnt smoke, she says her hands didnt touch any chemicals and she doesnt use any tan products. the powder i used was pink NSI standard nail powder and the liquid i used was called Attraction Nail Liquid, i dont think its a mono one, i have not used this one on her before, it is great for not lifting which was another prob i found with her nails but now they have reacted, she was getting her nails done at a store, could my liquid have mixed with theres causing the yellow?
AnswerHi Tonya,
Okay.... I am thinking that your client is not telling the whole truth. Does she wash dishes?? lol... There has to be something that is causing this to happen and the client will ALWAYS say that she does nothing. (think how they tell us that their nails "just popped off!")
Unless the powders you used from NSI are old, I cannot imagine it was anything you did.
You said she went to a shop--likely one that uses MMA. How long ago did she get her nails done there? MMA ALWAYS turns yellow about four weeks after they are done. This is classic from the chop shops and MMA usage. This may be the reason. Your product will NOT make the nails turn yellow or putting yours on top will not make them yellow either. It is the MMA. I am sure of it.
I have photos of clients with nails from places like that. ALL of them are yellow. You will never see a pretty nail come out of those places. EVER!!
All you can do is hope she comes back and until that grows out, then she will have to wear polish.
Some companies have powders that cover that. Entity has a product called Nudite and their pinks cover wonderfully. I use this and mix the two pinks in the Nudite and the basic pink to make a beautiful color for my clients. ( http://entitybeauty.com)
Go to my site, http://salon29.net to see photos of MMA nails.
Also, go to the NSI website. http://nsinails.com
You can call them for help if you need to. I know a few women who work there and they should be more than willing to help you out. Risa is one who is very nice and will give you pointers with their products.
Good luck,
buenos dias,
Lynnette
