QuestionI have a problem with my 'gels' loostening around the edges of my nails. My nails also tend to "curl" with gels/tips when they are normally somewhat flat. I started taking a new diabetic med in Jan 09, Januvia. Could this be part of the problem with my gels coming lose? Thank you
AnswerSally,
The only thing I can recommend for you to do is use a good cuticle oil. Did your tech suggest this for you?
Meds can dry out the nails more, but there are so many medicines that I could never keep track of what the side effects of all of them are.
Also, keep in mind that you cannot force nails to take on the shape of the product. It could be that you should have your nails under the product filed down.
If you are having lifting, your tech is probably not prepping your nails correctly.
If you have flat nails, then this is the problem. You will NEVER be able to make your nails curve. It is best to keep your own nails clipped/filed under the product.
I apologize for the delay in answering; my computer keeps crashing.
buenos dias,
