Eyebrow Overplucking Recovery: How Long Until Hair Regrowth?

Question
Hello! I am 17 years old and a couple days ago, I decided to pluck my eyebrow hairs. Unfortunately, I made some very stupid mistakes, and I ended up making my eyebrows ridiculously short (each brow was shortened by 3.5 cm!). My friend tried to help, but now the shapes of my eyebrows are just weird (very terrible situation). For now, I am able to successfully apply makeup in order to cover it, but my prime concerns are these: How long will it take for my brow hairs to grow back (they have begun to sprout)? What can I do to speed up the process? Should I be very concerned? (and) will they grow back to their original thickness? (my natural brows are dark and thick). thank you!
P.S. I've heard that massaging the "balded" areas with olive oil helps. Can you verify this?

Answer
Hello Lizzie,

Please do not worry, your eyebrow hairs will grow back as they were before and with the right eyebrow liner, people would have to be very close to know to notice anything.
I have found somewhere that eyebrow hair take +/- 64 days to regrow, although it sounds long to me. Let's say than in a month, your eyebrow should look much less bald.
No, nothing can help you to grow them faster except maybe to massage the area as it helps to detox the tissue and bring more blood and oxygen and nutrients supply, which are crucial to hair growth (it's also true for your hair). If you have a good diet, it will also help a lot.

I hope you find this answer helpful.
Have a beautiful day,
Take good care
