QuestionHi,
I just turned 20 yrs, and last month I noticed that my lips and the area around it turned flaky.Slowly, the area got lighter. Then,I visited my dermatologist who asked me if I have these kind of problem in my family. But nobody in my family has any kind of skin disease. The doctor gave me ZincB vitamin for one month as well as two creams and an anti fungal gel.Now the area is almost turning into my natural skin color(brown). Now the doctor is telling me never to use makeup, especially lipstick. Can you please tell me what I should do?I am getting married soon, and I can't imagine what I would do without any makeups?
Please help me.
Thank you very much!
AnswerDear Sara~
Why is he telling you not to wear make-up? For what reason? Surely, there must be certain make-up brands that would be acceptable for you with your condition. I would call him ask him for a list of make-up brands that are recommended for sensitive skin or the condition he has diagnosed.
If he is absolutely certain you shouldn't wear make-up (which I've never heard recommended) ask him if you can do so just on a limited basis (occassionally) such as on or around your wedding day.
Best blessings and wishes, Sara!
