Identifying a 10k Gold Ruby Ring with 'W-W-W' Maker's Mark

Recently my grandmother passed away and i inherited a 10k gold ruby ring. It has a maker's mark of W-W-W. I am unsure of the when where and what of the ring, but am dedicated to finding out. Please, someone help me...i don't know where to begin. Any input is appreciated whole-heartedly. Thank you.

Hi Kate,
I'm not familliar with this makers mark. There are published lists of makers marks that you may find this mark on. Some of these lists are available to both jewelers and the public in both hard cover and on the internet.
Try doing a search for hallmarks!!
