my ring
I was given this ring and I am not exactly sure what it is
or if it might have any value. inside it says 14kt ACF? and another little stamp i cant make out. I have enclosed a pic. Thank You for your time. Brenda
AnswerHi Brenda thanks for your question and image , its a nice big stone and is probably a coober pedy light opal cabachon of maybe 12-15ct in weigght . The 14k indicates it is gold of course , the ACF may be the makers mark , you mentioned another mark inside , you will have to scan it or get the magnifying glass out , that could be the seal of the jeweler. These things are always difficult to know ,whatever it is ,its good beacuse if the ring was valueless they surely wouldnt bother putting a mark and seal on it . You may have to take it to a jeweler for a look . best regards
