Resizing a Diamond Channel Band: Can It Be Enlarged?

Can a diamond (small round diamonds all around) channel band be sized larger? I've heard no and I've heard yes (using a spacer). Thank you!

Depending on the ring,and the size it needs to be, although difficult, it can be done adding a small piece of gold to the ring, however, if done by a novice jeweler they may have difficulty as the stones will pop out from the bending process and they will need to be reset....take it to a seasoned jeweler someone with a shop on premise...it is a challenge but can be done...
