Ring Allergy: Causes, Symptoms & Relief - Expert Advice

Question
My husband develops tiny white bumps under his skin when he puts on his wedding ring.  The bumps go all the way around his ring finger area.  They are hard and itch.  He has tried different levels of gold but still has the problem.  Before he tries another "metal" what would you suggest?  When he takes the ring off the bumps go away.  Any help is appreciated.

he is breaking out from the moisture under the ring and reacts with his skin, this is common. Does the ring have a cavity under it or is it solid??? the ring may be too small for his finger and water and other solvents may get trapped and react with this skin and acid level in his body....if he's under stress it will be more apparent believe it or not.... try sizing the ring up a 1/4 size or take it into the jewelry store and get their opinion. If you send me a picture I can comment better.
