Identifying Vintage Gold Watch: F&M Palm Tree & Horse Head Mark

I am trying to identify a watch. It has a mark, a diamond box with the letters F and M on either side of what appears to be a palm tree. It also has a mark that looks like a horse head or other animal head, very difficult to discern. The watch has the words "cylindre huit rubris". Can you help?
