Identifying Vintage Gold Watch Pendant Necklace - Swiss Made

Question
In grandmothers jewerly box. Open faced watch - gold with gold back with design.  top of watch has fashiontime  and bottom of clock has swiss and shock proof.  There is a rotating circle of diamonds (?) that turns.  Grandmother most likely had this in he 50s or 60s.  Can you help? Thank you.

Answer
Hello Christina and thank you for your inquiry. Your watch sounds lovely. Most watches made during that time period used Swiss works. If you believe that there are diamonds present, you should have the watch appraised by a jeweler - the watch may be gold also. However, most gold watches were marked with karat gold. i.e. 14K. You would probably find more information inside the watch as far as manufacture goes. But you must be careful when removing the back from the watch. Best to have a professional do it. Fashiontime may be the name of the design but not necessarily the company. Hope this helps and enjoy your watch.
