Removing Super Glue from Stone Jewelry: A Safe Guide

I took my ring to be repaired as the stone had come out, and when i got it back it had been superglued back in. the superglue is also all over the stone and the metal. What would be the best way to get this off?

Hello,

You need to go to your local hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot and buy some acetone solvent.  Dip a rag in the acetone and wipe it off.
Be sure you are away from any open flame.  Try not to breathe the fumes either.  I use it all the time for just that sort of thing.
