Oneida Community Spoon Rings: History, Value & Identification

My friend has a spoon ring and on the inside groove it says "oneida community". I was wondering what you could tell me about it. I looked it up on google and found out they were some kind of church and eventually started manufacturing silverware. I also found out that the company's name was "oneida community" from 1899-1935 until it changed it's name to "oneida limited". So i was wondering about how much you think it might be worth but any information you can give would be helpful. Thanks.
