Identifying Your 9ct Rodd Ring: History & Value

Hi, i was given a ring when i was a child, its beautiful big heart with what looks like a ruby inside, my question is when i looked for a hall mark or a number all i found engraved ws 9ct Rodd, i have no idea what this means any info would be helpfull

The only information I could find was that there was a Rodd jewelry located in Australia in the early 1900's and they would have used 9 ct gold in their productions.
