Decoding Diamond Ring Markings: What Does '14K' and 'Jr.' Mean?

I was given a ring that has marking in the inside and i was wondering if you could tell me anything about it.  Its a diamond ring on the inside it say 14k diamond shape, like a kite, then Jr.  On the other side of the inside it says .26 b or 8. I think its a b.  Any information you can tell me would be appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

The 14k indicates that your ring is 14k gold - The kite or diamond shape is a common icon used in precious jewelry and if there are no accompanying initials or information, it is difficult to tell the manufacture.
