st. christopher pendan
22 years ago i was given a st christophers pendant by an older neighbor before entering the military.
i understand that they are one of the most popular pendants the world over, but this one is a little different, as it is rectangular in shape.
i've kept my eyes open and i have never seen another like it, even an image search on google found only round or oval, and a few artsy odd shaped ones.
it's sort of driving me crazy, can you or someone yopu can point me toward anything about it? i've attached a photo. the back has sterling along the bottom edge but is otherwise plain.
AnswerHello Doug, I too have never seen one quite like this but in the galleries in Europe which I feel this one was made or possibly of course copied here in the US. It is a cast item in Sterling and quite unusual since the figures are prolific and of a limited manufacturer by an artisan of sorts is my guess. Enjoy.
