AnswerHello Dan and thank you for your inquiry. It would be impossible for me to tell without a hands-on examination of the piece. Could be older Taxco or Mexican sterling but the pattern is still being produced. Since there are no markings, I would be skeptical. Sorry I couldn't help you on this one.
