Is Your Diamond Necklace Real? Understanding 10K & CZ

Hi,

my boyfriend last year gave me a necklace. He said the diamonds were real. They are very tiny diamonds but something makes me to belive it's not real...........on the necklace on the back it looks like it has a little carving of a shape of a diamond and beside it, it says 10k cz..........what does that mean?

I WILL TELL YOU THAT THE STAMP ON THE NECKLACE '10K' MEANS IT IS TEN CARAT GOLD AND 'cz' USUALLY STANDS FOR CUBIC ZIRCONIA, A SIMULATED (FAKE) DIAMOND SUBSTITUTE. SO WITHOUT SEEING THE PIECE IN PERSON I WOULD GUESS YOU MAY BE RIGHT. BUT THE THOUGHT THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND PUT INTO IT FOR YOU MAYBE WORTH IT. 'IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS'
