QuestionQUESTION: hiii....am trying to conceive for the past 4 months.am 23 years old..i feel that while having contact with my partner,i feel that semen does not go so deep inside my vaginal canal..it comes out when he pulls out after ejaculation.am keeping a small pillow under my hip after that .but still i feel that semen is only in the entrance of my vagina...what should i do?kindly reply soon..we do it in man on top position..
ANSWER: If your partner's penis is a normal length (at least 4 inches when erect), you can be assured that the semen is being deposited right at your cervix when your partner ejaculates, since a woman's vagina is only 3-4 inches long even when aroused. The excess you are seeing externally is just that: excess. A man produces many more sperm than are actually needed, and what is not running out is going through your cervix before your partner even pulls out.
If you want to maximize the amount of sperm that make it through your cervix, elevate your hips even farther with more pillows, so that your vagina is aimed upward (this makes an interesting sex position, too), and stay there for at least 10-15 minutes after sex. But don't worry if some runs out; there's still plenty inside to do the job.
If you are concerned about the length of time it is taking you to conceive, you should know that up to a year is perfectly normal even for fertile couples. If you want to conceive faster, look into Natural Family Planning methods of monitoring your ovulation so that you can be sure of timing your intercourse to match your most fertile periods. But even when you have intercourse at the perfect time, you only have a 20% chance of conceiving with each cycle. So keep at it, and good luck!

QUESTION: my partner's penis length when erect is lesser than 4 inches.what shud we do to increase the chances of pregnency?
ANSWER: Use the extra hip elevation that I mentioned, both during sex and for 10-15 minutes afterward. Gravity will pull the sperm toward your cervix if they are not there already. In addition, if you orgasm after your partner, the contractions in your vagina will also act to draw the sperm towards your cervix.

QUESTION: today is my 9th day of the cycle.i had wet vagina(almost like egg white mucus) for the last 2 days..today the vagina is completely dry.wat does this mean?have i ovulated on the 7th or 8th day if the cycle itself?why is the vagina so dry on the 9th day of the cycle itself?
AnswerIf you have relatively short cycles, it is possible that you could have ovulated on day 7 or 8. Another possibility is that this was sort of a warm-up for your body. Many women have multiple periods of fertile mucous before actually ovulating. This is why it is very useful to track temperature in addition to mucous, so that you can confirm the ovulation after it happens.
