Identifying a Vintage Ruby Ring: W&G Stamp & Speckled Stone

Hi i was left a ring from my granny its stamped w&g an another stamp which i cant make out. It has 6         rubys on it an a speckled stone in middle. My boyfriend thinks its somethin outta a lucky bag. So we not sure. Not lookin to sell just tryin to figure out if its worth aythin.
