Identifying Your Vintage Bracelet: Understanding 'GA' & Stone Type

Hi, I recently purchased a bracelet that has a lovely design. Ithas diamond-like stones that are unusually brillant.  There are markings inside an oval: 925, Italy and GA in the center. Can you tell me what the GA means?Also can you speculate about the very shiny stones? CZ? thanks for your help.

Hello Cindy and thank you for your inquiry. Your bracelet sounds lovely. The GA is most likely the designer or manufacturer. I was unable to find that trademark in my resources but there is a book on the market or perhaps in your local library by Ginger Moro on European Jewelry that may help you.
