Identifying a Vintage LW&G 9ct Gold Ring - Maker & History

I have acquired this ring and can find almost no information on the maker LW&G. There also seems to be what appears to be a B and something else that I can't make out. What year and where it was made. I do know that it is 9ct.gold and that is about it. It does have and engraving of "from Barbara 1 8 59. I am asumming that it was given on this date. I am including photos that may help. I would greatly appreciate any information.

Lots of interesting questions that cannot be solved by the few letters stamped in a ring. It is aparent that the ring is not made in the U.S.A. since they do not allow 9K in modern manufacturing to be called gold. So you might look in european "makers marks" to find LW&G but they will not have info on where and when a specific ring was made. The best you can tell is it was made before 1-8-59 and not in the U.S.
