Is It Too Soon to Propose? Relationship Advice

Well me and my girlfriend are going on holiday in august, and while we're there we'll be celebrating our 8 month, which I'm sure is going to be very special I'm just thinking that it could be extra special by asking her to marry me on the beach. Would just like to know your opinion on if it's to soon in the relationship ect.

I think it is very important to think carefully about such an important step. You really need to know yourself and your prospective partner very well. Some things you need to know are:
1. was she close to her father and mother during chilhood
2. are there any unresolved losses or conflicts with parents
3. is she open with her personal feelings and thoughts

Remember the Johari window: there are things known to self and others, things hidden to self but known to others, things known to self but hidden to others, and things unknown to self and others.
