Relationship Troubles: Understanding Conflict and Separation in Young Marriage

MY QUESTION IS, I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR. IM 23 YEARS OLD. I HAVE KNOWN MY HUSBAND SINCE I WAS 12 YEARS OLD. I THINK THAT WE HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP. EXCEPT WE FIGHT OVER THE SILLIEST THINGS. WELL THE LITTLE THINGS TURN TO BIG. ON FIDAY MY HUSBAND LEFT AND RETURNED ON SUNDAY TO GET ALL OF HIS THINGS FROM OUR HOME. HE HAS NOT TALKED TO ME SINCE THEN AND DOES NOT RETURN ANY TYPE OF COMMUNICATION WITH ME. HE DID NOT LEAVE ON AN ANGRY TERM HE TOLD ME BEFORE HE LEFT THAT HE LOVES ME AND THIS IS THE HARDEST THING THAT HE HAS EVER DONE. AND THAT HE WANTED TO STAY BUT HE DOES NOT THINK THAT THIS WOULD WORK AND HE WANTED BOTH IF US TO BE HAPPY. HOW DO I GET HIM TO TALK TO ME I KNOW THAT HE LOVES ME AND I WANT TO WORK THIS OUT.

Unfortunately men tend to "run off" to someone else's waiting arms. There's probably no way to be certain except wait and watch. If this happens to be the case, it will be upsetting, but try to keep your composure and move on as soon as you can, being thanful there are no children involved. If he does make contact with you, try to remain calm and understanding, you will gain more information this way. If he hasn't made his choice, you have a chance, try to remember he is going to go to the place where there is the least resistance. Winning fights is only important if you have someone to fight with, many years from now, you'll think back and see how silly the subject matter was.
