Answer
Men have vasectomies. Women have their tubes tied. If she had a tubal ligation 15 years ago, it is highly doubtful that she can become pregnant at all. In order to reverse the tubal ligation, she will have to have an operation where the damaged portion of each tube is cut and the good ends are sewn together again. An examination by a doctor will not show anything. She will have to consult a reproductive endocrinologist to have the surgery performed. However, it is doubtful as to whether she will ever be able to become pregnant. Sorry.
