Ovulation Pain & Possible Implantation Symptoms: A 19-Year-Old's Concerns
QuestionI am 19 and I have no children. My last period was july 7. Hi it's me again. Well like last time I asked you about the ovulation pains that I thought I was having on the 28 and 29 of july. And you said that they were probably o pains. Well I started having those same kind of pains again last night but they where on the other side. My left side. My question is could I be ovulating again a week later?
Or if I pregnant could it be implantaion? Can you have pain when the embryo implants? I have a 39 day cycle and I think you said I should have o-ed the 31 july. And I had unprotected sex on 26,29,31 july and 1 of aug. The pain lasted all night then when I got up today I took some ibuprofen and it's gone now. Do you think it could be a pulled muscle or something other?
AnswerIf the pain disappeared after taking ibuprefen, it probably was a pulled muscle. However, if your last period startedc on July 7 and you have a 39 day cycle, you are due for your next period on Auugst 13. If you do not get your period by then, wait until August 20 and take a pregnancy test. Implantation does not hurt and women rarely are aware of implantation unless there is some spotting. It usually occurs around 8 days after conception.
