Irregular Period After Possible Pregnancy - What Does It Mean?

me and my girlfriend had sex about 3days before her period was supposed to come. her period was light,with just spots for atleast 4 days.then shortly afterward her period began to flow more freely,(freely as in very VERY liberal, but still normal) what does this mean?

Hello - it means that the stress of worrying about being pregnant has messed up her hormone balance and put her cycle out of kilter. At present she is not pregnant, but if you continue having sex without using TWO forms of birth control EVERY time- she soon will be. You must use a condom EVERY time that penis comes out of the pants- whether you intend intercourse or not and she must use the pill, a diaphragm or some spermicidal foam- don't count on the stuff that comes in the condom. No form of birth control is 100% safe, so you MUST use two at all times. Cheri.
